MV Dona Paz Tragedy

On December 20, 1987, 4000 people went on board the Dona Paz that will take them to the Capital of the Philippines, Manila. But at 10 p. m. another ship was heading towards them and it was an oil tanker called the MT Vector. The two ships collided and set the ships and sea on fire. Both ships sank in 545 meters of water. And there were only 26 survivors, 24 from the Dona Paz and 2 from the Vector. Making it the world's worst peacetime maritime disaster.
